Ophthalmology Referral Service
We are delighted to announce that View Referrals will be working from Ferguson Vet Clinic from May 2026. This marks the launch of our brand-new Ophthalmology Referral Service Referral Service and we will be accepting cases for assessment, treatment and surgery.
View Referrals is run by brothers Michael and Richard McCallum. They bring exceptional expertise in veterinary ophthalmology to our clinic. Both graduating in 2006, they have each built distinguished careers dedicated to advancing eye care for animals. Michael, who graduated top of his class, went on to direct a multi-award-winning clinic in Central Scotland before gaining further qualifications in Veterinary Ophthalmology and working within a busy referral service in northern England. Richard, an Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Ophthalmology, has worked at leading referral centres and developed specialist expertise in complex cataract and retinal re-attachment surgery. Together, their complementary skills and shared commitment to clinical excellence ensure pets receive the highest standard of compassionate, specialist eye care.
