Apologies for the lack of updates recently. The last few months have been fraught with construction issues and then we received the terrible news that Hadden Group, our main contractor, had gone into administration at the beginning of September.
Whilst we remain fully empathetic for the loss of so many jobs, it left us in an awful scenario – two months of the build remaining with no main contractor.
However, we are delighted to announce that a fantastic local firm have stepped in to rescue the project.
Alltec will be managing the remainder of the build. If our experience of how they have engaged in the last few weeks is anything to go by, then we feel it will be like night and day compared to that which has gone before. Supportive, helpful, professional, decent, honest and with a marvellous eye for detail – a real ‘can do’ positive philosophy – a huge change and so refreshing.
We have a renewed excitement and vigour with a fresh breeze of optimism blowing through the clinic. Alltec are confident that they can turn the project around and hand over a modern, state of the art Veterinary Surgery we always had dreamed of creating.
Our completion date will be undoubtedly delayed but we aim to be open and to welcome all our new clients and patients by the end of the year.
